Last updated: 25 February 2026
This Refund and Returns Policy applies to all IT services provided by [Your Company Name] (“we”, “us”, “our”), including but not limited to website development, software development, digital marketing, hosting, maintenance, consulting and support services.bluemein+1
By engaging our services, you agree to this policy.
1. General Principles
-
We provide professional IT services that are intangible in nature and delivered through time, expertise and effort.emvsoftwares+1
-
Because services cannot be “returned” once performed, refunds are limited and assessed on a case‑by‑case basis in line with this policy and applicable consumer laws.
2. Project‑Based Services (Web & Software Development)
-
A non‑refundable advance / booking fee of 40% of the total project value is payable before project commencement to cover planning, discovery and initial setup work.
-
Once design or development work has started, any refund will be proportional to the work completed up to the date of a written cancellation request from you.
-
No refund is available for:
-
Milestones or phases that have already been delivered and approved in writing (including approval by email or project system).
-
Projects that are completed or already deployed on a live server or app store.
-
3. Retainer, Maintenance and Support Plans
-
For monthly/annual maintenance, support or marketing retainers, you may cancel your plan by giving 30 days’ written notice before the next billing cycle.
-
Fees already invoiced or paid for the current billing period are non‑refundable, but services will continue until the end of that period.
-
In exceptional cases where services have not been rendered at all during the current period, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a partial or full refund for the unused portion.
4. Digital Marketing, SEO and Advertising Services
-
Due to the nature of SEO, SEM, social media and other digital marketing services, results cannot be guaranteed and performance‑based refunds are not offered.
-
Strategy, planning, campaigns setup, content creation and optimisation work already carried out are non‑refundable.
-
If you wish to stop ongoing campaigns, you must notify us in writing; any prepaid but unused media budgets with ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads) are governed by their own refund rules, not ours.
5. Training, Consulting and Hourly Services
-
Payments for scheduled consulting, training or advisory sessions are refundable only if cancellation is requested at least 48 hours before the booked time.calinfo+1
-
If you miss a session or cancel later than 48 hours before the booked time, the session fee is non‑refundable, but we may, at our discretion, offer a one‑time reschedule.
-
Hours already delivered (remote or on‑site) are non‑refundable.
6. Change Requests, Scope Modifications and Delays
-
Approved project scope documents, proposals or SOWs form the basis of delivery; any changes requested later may affect timelines, cost and refund eligibility.
-
Additional or out‑of‑scope work will be quoted separately and is non‑refundable once approved and started.
-
Delays caused by your unavailability, late content, or third‑party dependencies do not create grounds for a refund.
7. Client Responsibilities
-
You are responsible for providing accurate information, timely feedback, approvals and required content or access (e.g., hosting, domain, logins).calinfo+1
-
If a project remains inactive or on hold from your side for more than 30 calendar days, we may treat it as abandoned; in such cases, all payments made remain non‑refundable.
8. Service Issues and Quality Concerns
-
If you believe the delivered service is not as described in the approved scope, you must notify us in writing with clear details within 7 days of delivery.
-
We will first attempt to rectify the issue through revisions or technical fixes as per the original scope at no additional cost.
-
If after reasonable efforts the issue remains unresolved, we may consider a partial refund, based on the proportion of work completed relative to undelivered items.
9. Non‑Refundable Items
The following are strictly non‑refundable:
-
Discovery, research and consulting fees.
-
Setup fees for hosting, domains, SSL, emails or third‑party tools.
-
Paid licenses, plugins, themes, stock images, or any third‑party products purchased on your behalf.
-
Custom development work once code delivery or deployment has begun.
-
Emergency, priority or after‑hours support fees.
